An Evening with Ann Hornaday

Ann Hornaday will be speaking, and answering pre-submitted questions from UMD Film Studies students, moderated by French modern studies Graduate Student Cécile Ruel and Film Studies major Jillian DiNardo.

Ann Hornaday is the film critic for The Washington Post, where she writes film reviews and features on film. In 2008, she was a finalist for the Pulitzer in criticism. Previously, Hornaday was a film critic at The Baltimore Sun and the Austin American-Statesman. She started her career at Ms. magazine, where she was an assistant to Gloria Steinem.

This event is free and open to the public with no RSVP required, and is co-sponsored by McKeldin Library. This program is supported through generous funding from the Pepsi Enhancement Grant.
